What is the release date of Surface Laptop 2?

Pre-orders for the Surface 2 laptop are currently available in some regions, via Microsoft or Amazon, with wider availability on the market from early 2019.

The specifications of high-end Surface laptops will have the power to compete with high-end desktops. You will have to decide for yourself whether you really need this extra power for a laptop.

What are the characteristics of the Surface 2 notebook?

Just like the previous version of the Surface Laptop, the Surface Laptop 2 is designed to be stylish, lightweight and portable while retaining a significant amount of energy.

The Surface Laptop 2 will feature a 13.5 "PixelSense display, an 8th generation Intel processor and an Alcantara-covered keyboard. The number of specifications you'll see in your laptop will always depend on how much you're willing to spend. .

The more affordable versions of the Surface Laptop 2 will see an 8th generation of i5, 8GB of RAM and between 128GB and 256GB of SSD storage space.

How much will the S.urface 2 laptop cost?

The Surface Laptop 2 will start at £ 979 ($ 999) to reach £ 2,079 ($ 2,699), depending on the model chosen.

The cheapest versions will include 8th generation Intel i5 processors and 8GB of RAM, while the most expensive variants will see an 8th generation Intel i7 and 16GB of RAM, with increased storage.

If you plan on getting into one of the most substantial releases, you can expect an 8th generation of i7, 16GB of RAM and up to 512 or 1 TB of SSD storage space (although the 1 TB is not available in the UK).

The notebook itself will have a standard USB 3.0 connection, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Mini DisplayPort and a 1x Surface Connect port.

The screen will have a resolution of 2256 x 1504 to 201 PPI for a 3: 2 aspect ratio, will be able to handle the 10-point multi-touch and will be protected by Gorilla Glass 3 to ensure maximum robustness.
